Note to Home School-ers about correct English and History
"English"
Some hold a great store in telling
things in a formal manner and it might be a good way to get the young-uns to
kill two birds so to speak by set-in to the task of help-en old Unk with his
proper use of the kings English. Not that Unk has much use fur the King, mind
you or anything else English for that matter. But part of being a good American
is to have a good command of the language of the land we call these United
States with one People, one Language, one Constitution, under God with liberty
and justice for all.
May be after they help Unk with his English they can go on
and research more of the story and see if he got his fact right. And in the mean time find a passion for both
English writing and the Stories of the old folks.
